Caroline Fyfe

Caroline recently completed a PhD with He Kāinga Oranga - Housing and Health Research Programme, examining the relationship between improving the thermal efficiency of housing and health outcomes of residents. Prior to this she completed a Master of Public Health at Massey University on the cost effectiveness of Community Water Fluoridation in New Zealand.

Caroline’s research interests revolve around the use of economic and geospatial analysis in the areas of health and the environment. She is currently working on an evaluation of the EECA Warmer Kiwi Homes heat pump subsidy programme, and an examination of how Covid19 has influenced the relationship between online accommodation-sharing platforms, such as AirBnB, and the rental housing market.
